a handmade coastal wedding 

The best weddings are often the last minute ones. Ruth and Nick contacted me to photograph their wedding last summer. It was for a date that I'd decided to not work on - a rare weekend off. But after spending an hour on the phone to Nick I knew I had to be there. Growing up in Norfolk I'd never been to Sea Palling but knowing what dunes and our coast was like it was easy to visualise what this handmade, creative wedding was going to be like.

The day arrived and turned out to be full of sunshine and magic. This wedding was so much fun and full of family and friends. It wasn't a day event but a whole weekend of relaxing and bringing everyone they love together to celebrate. Hot tubs, glamping, camp fires, noodle bar and coffee all ready for the guests. Everything was handmade even down to the banquet tables which you can now hire. Ruth and Nicks sense of fun shines through. Just epic.
